How is the body of the courtesy light switch (the Chris Prince ones) grounded in the A Post? Do you need a separate wire from the body of the switch to earth or are you supposed to drill and tap the metal behind the wood of the A Post and screw the courtesy light switch to that?.

Steve,

Chat to Chris Prince as I expect that he would know. He has helped me on numerous occasions and is also willing to send images.

Thanks guys. Turns out it picks up its ground via the cast header block to the lower A post (which is connected to the inner and outer wings) and the aluminium A post cladding. Crude but effective
